Let's go to London!

This is where I had my private guide. I met Jack in Thailand, and since I was in London for the weekend, there was a lot of partying at night and sightseeing during the day. In the towers of the Tower Bridge, there is a glass floor (I couldn't upload the pictures for some reason), from which you can see cars driving over the bridge beneath your feet. Additionally, the mechanism behind it, powered by steam, was very fascinating.

Unfortunately, I couldn't visit the Harry Potter locations, but I did visit Baker Street, the home of Sherlock Holmes. However, I'm sure this won't be my last time in London.

By chance, I stumbled upon my first demonstration at the foot of Big Ben. It was against climate change and organized by Extinction Rebellion, who are also active in Germany. The people there had completely funny but peaceful forms of demonstration. For example, someone in a Dalmatian costume chatted for hours with a police officer who obviously had no interest in listening to his new friend. I keep saying it: the English are funny. Unfortunately, they are not serious enough when it comes to really important matters, like our current pandemic problem. Hardly anyone in London wears masks. Only the demonstrators remained sensible.
