Vetlanda - Grumlan

A bɔra kɛnɛ kan: 10.08.2019

Our next stop was at Lake Grumlan near the city of Vetlanda. The campground with electricity and a dump station was located in a dead-end street next to a golf course, very quiet. Next door was a small settlement with Swedish weekend plots. It took us about 40 minutes to walk into town.

We stayed there for two nights. Fortunately, Bruno's fever lasted only one day, so on Friday we could walk into town and spend the afternoon at the lake. We had wonderful weather with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. We were able to relax and unwind. The night before, a thunderstorm had passed over us - that's a bit romantic in a motorhome.

On the way to Vetlanda, we accidentally found a parking lot near a ruin. We took a little walk there to stretch our legs. The 'Slottsruin' was venerable on a small island in a lake, which could be reached via a wooden bridge.
