The last two weeks flew by. Until Tuesday noon we had still hammered posts into the ground, always about 180 pieces. Once we got stuck in a big puddle where we had to ask for help to pull us out. Fortunately, the pain in the wrist quickly subsided.
After we completed the task on Tuesday, we received other tasks, such as checking posts for false nails, checking irrigation for damaged areas, and equipping the new posts with nails. I even drove the Gator alone, which was really fun, especially when the rear accidentally got loose on the wet meadow.
There was bad weather once, so I had to stop work after 2 hours. Otherwise, the weather was quite pleasant except for the first two hours when the sun is not yet so strong and your toes feel like freezing despite wearing two pairs of socks.
My daily schedule is quite simple at the moment. Get up at 6 in the morning, get breakfast and go to work. After work, go to the library, use the wifi until the library closes, then have dinner and watch series until 10 pm. The time could possibly be better utilized, but it's difficult without internet. On weekends, I do my laundry and then go to the campsite, which I only visit because of the shower and a sink for washing dishes, as it is otherwise quite annoying when other people are loud until 5 am. During the week, I also went to the swimming pool once, swam a few laps and took a shower. I have abandoned the idea of going to the gym because the registration is too complicated for me. A few days ago, Dad came up with the idea of spending a few more days in LA, which I will probably do, too. When you're already there, you can also make use of the time. The car is still running well and without problems, but I don't drive that much anymore. Unfortunately, the gasoline prices have been more expensive for a few weeks now and are now at German level, while they used to be about 20-30 cents cheaper. And yes, I need to go to the hairdresser soon... Robin can't cut my hair now.
Whether I will continue working tomorrow will be clarified tomorrow. On Friday, I couldn't talk to anyone anymore, so the situation is currently a bit unclear and very confusing. Maybe there will be trouble with the agency, but I will find out tomorrow. There is definitely still plenty of work to do, just unsure if there is work for me as well.
Small addition 11.6.:
Everything is going well with work, it has practically regulated itself, probably will continue for at least two more weeks.
