The sky last night was cloudless. And they were right, like diamonds on black velvet.
Mega many stars and so many bright ones. Madness. Unbelievable. Fascinated. I could have watched for hours if it hadn't been so cold. So we only endured for 1 1/2 hours.
Today was a beautiful day, not just because of the weather. A Nordic walk on the beach,
enjoy a glass of wine with a view,
look for and book a hotel for Auckland. Oh yes, and nearby, while planning our day tomorrow, we accidentally discovered a frisbee court.
Of course, we also played there. Finding the court was not easy. But we found it and it was challenging. It was so hilly, some call it steep, really steep.
And honey in New Zealand standard shoes. Flip flops.
But he fought bravely, I would have broken my ears.
And then they were there, our Swiss roommates. A nice family from Mollis near Zurich. We had a nice conversation all evening. The funny thing is, they also overlooked that this is a flatshare when booking and Brigitte had the same concerns as me. But we quickly found out that we are on the same wavelength.
The sunset was a dream again,
but definitely no stars tonight.
