At the ferry terminal in Vennesund, we started around 11:30. The night was not so restful. I quickly realized that things were not going smoothly. A twinge in my knee and a regular clicking of the chain. I tried to stay calm. Stopped, cleaned the chain, and oiled it again. The clicking remained. I noticed with my knee that it reacts to too much pressure, which is more the case in high gears. So, one gear slower and 2-3 km/h less. After 3 hours on the road, with repairs and breaks, I had 15 km on the clock, which demanded a lot mentally to continue cruising slowly. To think positively... it's not raining... 70 km will also be possible at this pace... what kept me in a good mood were once again the thousands of raspberry plants in full bloom, which sweetened my break every 15 km. I made it to the next ferry at Holms, which took me to Lund. There I found an optimal overnight spot right by the ferry. Mowed flat meadow, open toilets, as well as a warm lounge with electricity and wifi. I cooked myself dinner and went to bed in my tent.
