Winter is coming

Brrrr....
The days are getting shorter, the temperatures lower. You can clearly feel it - winter is coming. On Sunday, fortunately with the best weather, I went hiking all day with my oldie Kalle. We climbed up the Hausberg, admired the husky farm and the Vestlevatn from above, and enjoyed the view. There wasn't much up there besides the two of us, but at least I saw my first reindeer and a fox :) By the way, if anyone now thinks, 'Oh, hiking with a dog, he'll just pull you up everywhere!' - Yes, he does, but also back down, and above all - following every trace! Kalle definitely cost me quite a few nerves and strength, but it was still great to have the little rascal with me :) Today (Monday, October 17th), weather-wise, the complete opposite: minus degrees, freezing rain, and an extremely strong, penetrating wind that I only knew from Iceland. The level of demand in training is also quite increased by this - icy paths, poor visibility, watery eyes. And above all, it became clear that no matter how thick and great my finger gloves are, they fail here miserably. So, right after training, I raided the storage and sorted through the boxes of forgotten/left-behind guest items - my booty, pretty retro blue-red-yellow checkered mittens, will probably be tested tomorrow... because here, you have no choice whether you're outside or inside ;)
