Arctic Coast Way

What a sunny day! And that on the north coast. Wonderful. I really enjoyed driving along the 85.

Actually, the pictures speak for themselves.

I would like to highlight a place, somewhat secluded in a green valley between high rock mountains: the Bustarfelli Museum. A very lovingly and authentically preserved complex of turf houses.

In the late afternoon, I arrived in Raufarhöfn, the last place before the Arctic Circle. This is where I will spend the last night on the Eurasian continental plate for now. Tomorrow, from a geological point of view, I will already be on the American continent.

It is still light here, even though it is already a month past the summer solstice. The sun is below the horizon for only about 4 hours.
