Hello!

I'm not good with time. I'm more connected to nature than to clocks.

But sometimes it's important to follow the clock. For example, when you want to meet someone or when you want to catch a flight or a ferry. Okay. I wake up early enough, do all the things that need to be done in the morning, pack, saddle up the moped, put the GPS in the holder, say goodbye to the hosts, rush - slightly frantic - and then I get reminded that calmness and serenity are simply better. The ferry is delayed. We are sent away again.

When it finally comes to check-in, the technology at line 5 fails. And then at all the other counters too...

So, what started as a somewhat stressful morning for me [clock-oriented] turns into 'letting things take their course'. Finally, I am actually the last passenger at check-in. They close the gates behind me. But I'm not the last one on the ship. Motorcycles get to go ahead.

Hildegard [did I mention it before? I call my moped Hildegard] is securely fastened, just like the others. I made nice travel acquaintances while waiting, and everyone helps each other.

The ferry is fully booked, and has been since February. I have a berth in a 6-person compartment. I'd better quickly get my sleeping bag out of my luggage before the vehicle deck is closed.

And off it goes, the MS Norröna. The ferry is big enough for everyone to find their own spot to look, rest, swim, eat, read, or do their fitness program, according to their own preferences. The sea is appropriately calm for the size of the ship. However, it is very windy on deck. Currently, Norway's south coast is passing by us.
