The beginning - of course not according to plan

My journey starts! After months of planning the route, preparing the necessary documents, and saying goodbye to family and friends, it finally started on 25.02! Still surreal that I am supposed to be in South America for 5 months, far away from home?!

But first, let's get to the facts:

Planned flight route: Frankfurt-São Paulo-Buenos Aires

And as fate would have it, I took off from Frankfurt right on time - but in São Paulo, I found out that the connecting flight was canceled. So I waited for an hour at the LATAM counter for information, spent about half an hour trying to find my way to the (shuttle) bus stop, and then waited for an hour at the hotel until I could check in.

Of course, I didn't imagine the journey like this. Perhaps a sign that I should let go of the German, organized and detailed self-organization...

However, the transport back to the airport went smoothly, as did the check-in and the flight. At Buenos Aires airport, a taxi driver was waiting for me, who took me directly to the hostel along with a Brazilian.

So it can really begin now!
