After arriving and showering, I didn't do much. I was so broken and exhausted. I only walked the long route because I had already booked the accommodation. The km view wasn't the problem, but when it rains for 4 hours and your shoes and socks are soaking wet, it's no fun anymore. But since I don't have to book in advance, I will react spontaneously in the future. Check the weather often and, if necessary, take a break (ideally if there is a bar nearby) and then change your socks before they get wet. In any case, last night I no longer had the energy or desire to leave the accommodation. That's why I had groceries delivered to me by Carrefour (this is now also possible in larger cities in Spain). Unfortunately, my actual dinner (a fat 500g empanada) wasn't there. I actually thought that I could choose something else, but that wasn't the case. So I ate my emergency ration (cookies, peanuts and chocolate) for dinner and the drinks and protein drinks I ordered. I was full afterward.
The accommodation was nice but a little chilly (from the staff). It had everything you could want: a 6-bed room with a bathroom with a shower. There were also curtains in front of each bed and a light and socket. And a lockable box with a cozy blanket, bed linen and a large towel. The room was also well heated. There was also a kitchen and a large lounge. Unfortunately you could only get drinks at the bar and nothing real to eat.
After I ate, I laid down in bed and just relaxed. The bed was important very comfortable. Only my feet hurt a bit and my neck hurts too. I haven't experienced any neck pain from previous trips that probably comes from backpacking. I haven't weighed my backpack, but I would say it's actually lighter than last time.
Actually, I had chosen such long stages so that I could see a lot in the big cities like here in Logroño or before that in Pamplona, but in reality it was the case that I arrived so exhausted and usually so late that I was so good like nothing I have seen in front of the respective cities. I will change that in the future. I no longer plan my stages based on destinations, but rather based on how much I want to walk. I shouldn't worry so much about it. You can never see everything anyway.
Shortly afterwards I lay down and fell asleep.
