4th stage part 2 to Logroño

Just as I was about to leave, the first raindrops came again. It's a good thing I left my cape on. And I needed that too. Because while the wind and the rain had alternated in the morning, now both came at once. And that definitely takes 2 hours. Of course my shoes and socks were soaking wet. Likewise my pants and my T-shirt. The cape does protect, but it is powerless against such a storm. Luckily I had a sealable plastic bag in my pocket, otherwise my cell phone and wallet would have gotten wet. But my guidebook hit the edges, which annoys me because I have other bags, but in my backpack somewhere. At times I also ran without glasses because they would have constantly fogged up from the heavy rain. The path, both this morning and now, almost always went through forests. Luckily there weren't any big climbs, but the constant change between up and down was a bit grueling. And then there was the fact that many parts of the path were not really accessible. They were so muddy and then the mud stuck to the shoe, which made walking even more difficult. I had no choice because I had already booked the accommodation in Logroño (a mistake I hope I won't make again). In the meantime the sun came out, but only for a short time. The journey was therefore very strenuous for me. After the break I put on a podcast and then a 2000 playlist. In general I would like to go without music, but when the weather is bad it gives you a bit of motivation. I overtook a pilgrim early in the morning, but didn't meet anyone else. They did it right and probably treated themselves to an off day. In the last 12km there is bright sunshine again. But unfortunately it doesn't stay that way for long. Then I was finally there at the accommodation after almost 49 kilometers in over 11 hours. And how much I was looking forward to the shower...
