From Mt. Saint Michel to Brittany

From Mont St. Michel to Saint-Jacut-de-la-Mer

We overslept and woke up shortly after 9 am 😂

After a breakfast with fresh baguette

and a shower and other things to do, we start heading west towards Mont Saint Michel

and past it towards St. Malo

On the opposite lane there is a long traffic jam towards Mt. Saint Michel. Luckily, we were already there yesterday. In St. Jakut de la mer it is quite deserted and there is no water.

After waiting until 3 pm for someone to be at the campsite reception again, we are greeted by a very nice French woman who speaks German and gives us a nice spot with a sea view.

We cannot confirm that the French are unfriendly so far. We hike along the coast in the mudflats and somewhere in the distance we see the sea.

In the evening, the tide has also reached the campsite

but tomorrow morning the water will probably be gone again. It is windy and quite cool here. We decide to drive south tomorrow, as we need a bit more warmth.
