And once again, the day was too short for us. During our stay on Big Island, we never managed to be back at the accommodation before sunset. Today, we went along the coast, the so-called Kona Coffee Coast, to the southernmost point of the USA. There, we could observe cliff jumpers and admire the incredible surf. On our way to the next highlight, we treated ourselves to a hot dog from the food truck and a can of Dr. Pepper. Then, we had an original Kona Coffee. The price per kilogram for this coffee is about $120-$130. Well, we don't treat ourselves to much otherwise. 😊 Well, the cups weren't that expensive after all. We paid $4 for a small cup. The journey continued to Punalu'u Beach, a black sand beach where you can also see sea turtles if you're lucky. They weren't on the beach, but we could see them several times in the water near the shore. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of them.
