Perth - rainy days

4.09 - 6.09

These three days were characterized by rainy weather. We went shopping, to the movies, and visited Kings Park in the rain. During the hop-on/hop-off, the weather cooperated, and we saw Perth in sunshine. The highlight in Perth was surfing on 6.09, which was a new experience for both of us. Despite the postponements, it was the second worst winter surf day of the school. For us, that meant gulping a lot of seawater and standing less on the board. Viviane ended the session with a dive into the sand, resulting fortunately in only a bloody finger. Starving, we headed to Fremantle to a nice vegan restaurant and then continued exploring the harbor city of Perth.
