Another stop was at Ruby Bay near Nelson, where we had a great campground right by the sea and could buy great wine.
Afterwards, we continued to the two lakes Lake Rotoiti and Lake Rotoroa where we actually wanted to stay overnight, but we decided not to because of all the sandflies. We preferred to sleep at a free camping spot right next to a waterfall.
Today we drove on towards Westport and then Greymouth. We also made a stop at the pancake rocks, which look like stacked pancakes. Very impressive natural phenomenon which is still not completely understood. Since it's raining, we didn't do much, but on March 17th we will go skydiving in Queenstown, that's for sure =D
