Kick out of the Airbnb

Upon arrival at our Airbnb, we asked for an extension for one more night (from 2 to 3 nights), which was fine. Until the morning after the second night when we were told we had to check out. It's not easy to find an affordable place to stay in booked Auckland. Luckily, we find a cheap Airbnb nearby. So, we spend our last day before our road trip moving and changing the organized pickup.

But also pleasant: shopping!

We need some Christmas decorations, a few essential groceries for our road trip, which means noodles! But especially a charger to charge our phones and a transmitter over radio signal for my music. I hope it works... what else should I do without my music!

Did I mention that I am allowed to drive everything alone, because even though I pushed Kay to get an international driver's license, he didn't think it was necessary. Men, remember: listen to your wife ;)

We end our evening with the comedy night, a beer, and stand-up comedy... That's what's missing in Switzerland! (The admission cost us about 3.50chf)

The photos show Kay after the trouble with the online transfer for our car. After his second ice cream, he is visibly happier. No one can tell me anymore that emotional eating is only something for women!
