For now, the last day on Oahu

Hey friends,

like the past few days, we had breakfast together with the others today as well. However, we didn't spend the morning together. Some decided to go to the farmers market, while others stayed in the hostel for a beach day.

Since the farmers market was worth it for us as we are flying to Maui today, we stayed in the hostel and had a beach day. 🙈

For lunch, we went to eat the best crepe of our lives, with Nutella and strawberries. 🤤

Afterwards, Mareike went back to sleep, because our roommate snores, burps, and farts all night long, making it really difficult to sleep. 🙄

I went to the beach with Volkan, who is also German. ⛱

In the late afternoon, Mareike and I went back to the city to do some shopping. There, we witnessed our first street fight, with a man hitting a woman. 😳

Back at the hostel, we picked up our freshly washed laundry and packed our bags for four days in Maui. Then the next incident happened. As we were packing our bags, two police officers walked into our room and arrested a man who apparently didn't pay but wanted to stay. 😅

In the evening, we ended the last night together with a little alcohol and playing cards.

Since there is a curfew at 10 p.m. in the hostel, we moved our conversation to the beach and stayed there until half past twelve.
