After breakfast in the accommodation with delicious black bread, scrambled eggs and cheese, we continued writing our travel blog. At noon, we hopped on the scooter and headed to the pepper farm in the north of Phu Quoc. There, you could visit the small but fine farm for free. The owner gave us a private tour of the pepper plantations and explained everything about the cultivation and harvest of the pepper grains. Next to the farm, there was also an on-site brewery, which unfortunately was already closed when we arrived. We made a short stop at the small shop of the pepper farm, where there were many different varieties of pepper to buy. Of course, we couldn't resist and bought a pack of mixed pepper grains. We then continued to a slightly more remote beach, where only locals were. There, we could admire the beautiful sunset in complete peace and quiet. Afterwards, we drove back to our apartment, where we started preparing our dinner. Of course, an accident had to happen. While trying to separate the skin from the meat of a pumpkin, I slipped and cut my thumb with the knife. After a few minutes, the bleeding stopped luckily, and I was able to cook the curry. We particularly enjoyed it afterwards.
