Day 3.4: Newquay - Holywell

প্ৰকাশিত: 22.08.2020

Today we were on the road again in the 'right' direction: south. The wind has decreased overall, the weather friendlier. I found it to be a very interesting and varied day.

We parked the car in Cubert, a village before Holywell, and then hitchhiked back to Newquay.

I was very excited to get to know Newquay better. Unfortunately, I have always just passed through and never really looked around.

The Island was a first highlight. This little island with its suspension bridge is a well-known landmark. Very funny. We continued past the harbor. The headland of Towan offers an excellent view of the coastline to the north. In Huer's Hut, we kept an eye out for schools of fish and directed the fishermen with signals.

You can also see Trevose Head with its lighthouse, where we were just two days ago. Unbelievable that I walked that far.

(I have to stop again because I'm soooo tired. I will catch up on everything later... :-P)
