Oslo

Oslo is a modern city. Especially in the harbor area, a lot has happened in the last 20 years. The new opera house and the modern office and residential buildings give the harbor city a modern Nordic look.

In the city itself, there is hardly any car traffic, as a large part is underground and public transport is generally used. The remaining vehicles are mainly electrically operated and therefore very quiet.

As a pedestrian, there is a lot of space and it is unusually quiet in the city - you can only hear the bustling in the restaurants. Oslo is known for its vibrant nightlife.

Like in every city, we first visited museums. This time, the Natural History Museum with the zoological and geological sections, as well as the Climate House, was on the program. At 5:00 p.m., we were kindly asked to end our tour as they were closing.

We had Indian food this time - good and cheap.

Finally, we went swimming in the harbor, visited the opera house, and explored the rest of the city center.

Tired, we fell asleep at midnight.
