Vrbnik and Baska on Krk

Next stop is Krk. And there is our first stop, Vrbnik. What a beautiful little town. We arrived in the rain, but it eventually stopped. We parked in a public parking lot in the harbor and got lucky again. Currently, you can still park there for free. What a blessing, a nice place to stay and it's free. When the rain stopped, we went across the street to a small wine shop. I got to taste wine while Ronny watched. Well, he doesn't drink alcohol. After the wine tasting, we had 2 bottles of wine in our luggage and the dramatic sky outside became even more beautiful. And so before the darkness fell, we explored the harbor. There was a lot to see. Hidden access to the sea between the rocks and even a cave.

The next morning, the sun came out again and we visited Vrbnik itself. There is a very narrow alley here. It is only 40cm wide and what can I say. We both managed to pass through 😃

Vrbnik is not very big, so we went straight to Baska. Apparently a very popular beach town on Krk. But we didn't like it at all. It was quite scruffy, run-down, and untidy. We could have skipped that.
