La Dune, a daring path and back

La Dune is a hotel and restaurant right on the beach and next to the incredible dune that follows Buggeru. The road is narrow, steep, and - to put it mildly - entertaining to drive. Jürgen doubts that another hotel can be built there. And whether anything else will come at all. The dune landscape is incredible, the beach is huge, and there is actually a hotel there!

We continue to drive, don't find what we like, and finally end up here.

In the summer, according to the travel guide, it's completely crowded, now empty and lonely. The beach is full of balls made of who knows what. Mayla loves them! However, we believe that the fibers in her throat are irritating. Not her problem 😁

We have a beer on the stairs and enjoy "our" beach house, which later takes away our sundowner. Still beautiful here!
