After my informative visit to the museum, I started walking towards Sydney Harbour. On my way there, I saw many Chinese lanterns and flags. And why is Sydney so beautifully decorated? It's because the Chinese New Year Festival is taking place here. There are also large figures installed around Circular Quay, depicting the Chinese zodiac signs among other things. Some of them look very funny and make this city even more special.

On my way to the harbor, I then saw a snack chain: Hungry Jacks. The logo reveals the well-known fast food burger chain ;)

Finally, when I arrived at the harbor, it became noticeably windier. However, that couldn't spoil the view for me. There was a huge passenger ship in the harbor, with dimensions that are hard to imagine. Further out is the Sydney Opera House. Simply a beautiful sight.

I walked along the harbor and enjoyed the view. Hard to believe that I'm finally here. I explored more side streets and slowly made my way to the train station. When I arrived at Kings Cross, I went to Coles, a local supermarket chain that is open until midnight, and quickly bought 50 SPF sunscreen for an incredible $3 for 100ml to prepare for the next few days.

When I arrived at the hostel, a roommate was awake and we started talking. It turned out that Nazli is from Berlin and also German. So we could chat comfortably and end the evening.
