We continued on to South Head and then up a somewhat narrow dirt track to a small cabin where there was supposed to be a labyrinth. The old woman was very nice and explained to us that we would find 15 letters and from those we would have to form two words, one with 5 letters and one with 10 letters. The letters were quickly found, but the words were not - or rather not at all. We sat there puzzling for about 45 minutes until a German couple also visited the labyrinth. After they had also found the letters, they sat down next to us. After about 10 minutes they found the solution - haha well, we still got a lollipop as a reward 😉. Afterwards, we visited the waterfall that was right behind the house. On the way back to the main road, of course, we encountered 1 tractor and 1 car with a trailer filled with silage bales. After a, thank God, successful evasive maneuver, we returned to the main road without any further incidents and continued on to Waipou Forest. There we admired the giants of the forest, the kauri trees - giants - simply unbelievable. There was also the Kauri group, the 4 sisters - fitting for our family :). The days here go by so quickly, it was evening again and we stayed overnight at the campsite at Baylys Beach.
