We set our alarm clock extra early this morning to enjoy the sunrise on the small island. Karla, Kurt, and their two other friends who visited us last night are probably already there. At least they are no longer in our bathroom 🪳

We had extra ghee early in the morning and then off to see the sunrise...

Unfortunately, a 3-digit number combination got in my way. My suitcase wouldn't open anymore. An explosive situation that my Pitta-Vata Dosha felt wonderfully comfortable in. Stay calm. Google. Slightly modify the actual number combination. What would my better half have said to me now? "Take a deep breath and stay calm. We'll figure it out"! Snap! The lock opened 🔓

So I enjoyed the sunrise with a yoga session on our balcony 🧘🏻‍♀️☀️

For breakfast, we had fresh fruit and then soup. For dessert, more medicine from the nice ghee lady with the enchanting smile. I hope she knows exactly what's in those small dark pills and shots.

Today, I had 4 treatments planned: massages, herbal peels, and a steam bath. But what seems to be the most exciting thing on my schedule is the little box for the day after tomorrow: Virechana Karma. Translated, it means swallowing herbal tablets, no solid food, and spending the day in the room near the toilet. Yeah, here I come in two days!

There must be a reason why the other guests look at you sympathetically when you say that you still have the cleansing days ahead of you.

My absolute highlight today was the full body massage. The best massage of my life with the scent of fresh jasmine flowers in my nose.

We are now sitting on our balcony, enjoying the warm night with the fireflies buzzing around us 🌟
