The country keeps me captive.... The landscape is abnormally beautiful and the vastness of the country is unimaginable. I have no idea how I will cope in our currently too hot Germany, in the hustle, bustle and chaos, the bad air and the lack of horses. It is clear that I am not the person who would be happy here in solitude in the long run, but the way back will not be the easiest. Of course, I am looking forward to the family, the friends, the own horses, which one appreciates in a completely different way, but I already know that I will miss a lot. I will enjoy every single minute of the time I still have. So enough of the melancholic thoughts, maybe one becomes a bit melancholic here as well.... Today Magnus, Nora and I went to the Hvitserkur rock and Borgarvirki. However, in Magnus style, meaning we now go, race around rocks, take a photo in Japanese style and then zoom on to Borgarvirki. Despite the rush, always worth seeing. I also find it fascinating that in this rock landscape, small delicate flowers still defy the wind and weather. Today we had 8 degrees and strong north wind - the wind felt like -2 degrees. After we were back home, there was a Horse Run, which Magnus did again with the quad and Nora rode along. Tomorrow, the plan already includes riding many horses. I am looking forward to it. And maybe in the afternoon I will have time to go to the swimming pool in Hvammstangi with Chrissi and Nora. After all, no visit to Iceland is complete without a visit to a swimming pool.
