Island - Day 7 - Morning Mass, Castles and Seals

After our first night in a real bed, we walked to the church of Akureyri where morning mass was being held.

We continued driving west.

We were already used to single-lane bridges with oncoming traffic, but Iceland showcased a single-lane tunnel with oncoming traffic. Strange feeling.

On our way to the rock formation Hvitserkur (lonely rock in the sea), we passed an old, small castle called Borgarvirki.

The highlight of the day were the seals on the beach of Kviavik during sunset.
