Guanajuato - 12th day

Originally, I wanted to take a trip to San Miguel de Allende today, but I changed my plans. I will visit San Miguel on my way to Querétaro tomorrow. This gave me the opportunity to take the funicular to the Monumento al Pipila, an observation platform with a statue above the city - a magnificent view from up there!

After that, I visited two more small museums. First, the Museo de Conde Rul, a former private house with an art exhibition. Then the Museo Palacio de los Poderes, the former seat of government of the state of Guanajuato.

In the afternoon, I spent some time reading by the pool before going out for dinner. I ended the day with a drink at the hotel bar, and tomorrow morning I'm off to Querétaro.
