Preparation

The preparations for Thailand are underway. The countdown has been running for 40 days. I have nice friends who had made me a fitting gift for my birthday (picture top left).

I am writing this blog to keep those interested up to date on what their friends out there are doing ;) I will try to convey pictures and impressions to you in the coming days/weeks at regular intervals, which we will experience.

As you can see, I am well prepared. I think my fellow travelers feel the same way! I have been told that it doesn't take much to backpack through a country. So only the bare essentials will be packed. Swimming trunks might have been enough.

For several years, my companions and I have been considering traveling to Thailand. Finally, I can say that we will put this plan into action.

I am really looking forward to this adventure. It is the first vacation that I will take in this way. Harry, the old package holidaymaker, will probably feel the same way :D

But now I still have some things to take care of, until tomorrow
