Shopping in Vancouver

Hello there,

We both survived the first night well. It was pretty cold, but very quiet. For our first breakfast, we drove to a nearby supermarket parking lot, which was empty early in the morning. There we took out our camping chairs and had breakfast in the sun.

After that, we continued with our shopping tour. Today we wanted to visit many thrift stores that were closed on Good Friday. Thrift stores are second-hand shops where you can buy everything: from clothing to books to electrical appliances like microwaves and vacuum cleaners. Really everything you can imagine! We also dropped off a few pots and other small items that we didn't need anymore and didn't fit in our car. In return, I found a few pants that were practically new.

After a few more purchases (including some boxes for the items from our backpacks), we went to Barnet Marine Park to sit in the sun for a few hours. A really beautiful park with a beach right on a sea inlet. Afterwards, we returned to our spot on the street in North Vancouver, where we also spent our first night.
