Next stop: Osaka

So since Saturday I have been in Osaka, the counterpart to Tokyo. Osaka is known for its delicious food and the friendliness of its residents. I found the hostel right away. It feels like half of the residents here are German or French. The hostel is located right next to a large park with a zoo and a Japanese garden.

And not far away is one of Osaka's landmarks: the Tsutenkaku, an observation tower that shows the weather for the next day through different lighting.

So far, I have only walked around the area of the hostel. But tomorrow my cousin Kerstin will arrive for three weeks and then it will really start :D But today, first I'll go to the town hall to register...
