Roadtrip Day 20 / Port Hedland

প্ৰকাশিত: 06.10.2017

The city of Port Hedland is purely a 'worker city' and the only interesting thing is the harbor.

Even the only campsite is mostly occupied by workers and didn't have much to offer. Luckily, we arrived in the late afternoon and took the time to cook dinner and go to bed early. The next morning, we were woken up at 5 o'clock by the noise of the street. We only had breakfast and were at the supermarket for shopping at 7 o'clock. Afterwards, our Maxi got a car wash, she really needed it.

After another stop at the harbor and some information, we continued 350 km inland to the Karijini National Park.

The Port of Hedland is one of the largest bulk export ports in the world, mostly exporting iron ore.
