First stop - Amelinghausen

Nice start - we have planned a first overnight stay in Amelinghausen (before Hamburg) so that we don't have to drive all the way through the 1000 kilometers to Hirtshals. Arrived. No reservation available. Damn. So find another pension at short notice. How do you solve something like that? Exactly, first coffee and cake.

Fortunately, the accommodation went very quickly. The flair of the 60s/70s was clearly felt here. There was no lack of cleanliness, the beer and herring were excellent. Only the smell.. it would have been nicer if it hadn't been so retro 😄
