3rd and 4th Quebec and Ottawa

Quebec is a very beautiful but relatively small city. However, it is also full of tourists, much more than in the other cities. The center of the city is mainly the old fortification, on whose walls you can relax in the sun very comfortably.

Furthermore, one of the most photographed hotels in the world is also located here. It is located directly on a huge terrace, from which you have a good view of the river and the surroundings. There are also some small alleys here, where tourists, shops, artists and of course tourists gather.

Overall, I spent a weekend here, and I think that was enough.

On the way back to Montreal, we stopped at a waterfall, which is supposedly a bit higher than Niagara Falls. Here you could walk around the entire waterfall, which was quite nice.

Ottawa...

...was the last stop on the east coast of Canada.

The capital is actually quite nice, but there is not much to see here either. One whole day here was enough for me personally. Unfortunately, there was a lot of construction going on here, so large parts of the Parliament and other buildings were not accessible or visible.

As a little highlight, you can stay in an old prison in Ottawa, which is definitely an interesting experience. For example, you can tell that everything was built to spread sounds, which is not very practical at night.
