The high culture has finally arrived.. But let's start from the beginning.
Second attempt in the morning to pick up the New York Pass at Mdm Toussaud. The first queue of the day. But it went quickly and the friendly young man told us that a city tour with The Big Bus was also included. Which day we wanted to go on. Well, if we're going, then right away. It's still early and the sun isn't so strong. Well, there was a remedy. The second queue of the day took a whopping 60 minutes until the bus arrived. In the meantime, the sun was also hot enough.
We had the Uptown tour around Central Park to Harlem. First highlight: The Trump Tower without Ivanka. Harlem looks like a lively colorful place with many beautiful old houses. We should go there separately sometime.
The tour then became a bit long and we got off at the Guggenheim Museum. Actually: The New York Pass works and we could see the collection. Amazing the many people who don't look at the great paintings by Kandinsky and Co, but take a picture of each individual painting with their phone. When will they free up their storage again and will they have looked at the pictures by then or shown them to their grandchildren or posted them on Instagram?
The bargain hunt continues. At St. John's Pizza you get 10% off. However, only after a thirty-minute queue. Then you eat in a decommissioned church, right next to Sardis. However, the pizza is excellent, just like the bill despite the 10% off.
