Angers - saumur 76km

Today a lot went according to plan and that was very pleasant :-)

We took it easy and got up again at half past six.

After taking down the tent, we boiled some water and brewed some tea. Since we had some anke, which is rare, we enjoyed some delicious anke rolls.

Strengthened, we set off and continued on our way. Today we were a little more foresighted and took a wide detour around the closed roads.

At lunchtime we warmed up our (leftover) sausages from yesterday and had bread and a cucumber with it.

We enjoyed coffee in Saumur after lunch and then tried to buy a pair of shoes, or rather, Adilettes. The French don't seem to have them in their range. So we looked at the beautiful castle from the outside. Since it was closed, we had it almost to ourselves. We didn't want to go in anyway.

We continued on to the campsite. There were other beautiful buildings and castles along the way.

Before we arrived at the campsite we did some shopping. As the display was somewhat limited, we bought an unusual menu. Cravättli pasta with zucchini tomatoes and a little bacon. Topped with parmesan and a pinch of pepper.

Before we cooked the food, we of course had to put up the tent again, swim in the pool :-) and take a shower.

The weather was dry all day. It only rained a little during dinner. There was often a headwind, which limited the pace somewhat.

While I was cooking, the gas was (almost) empty. So I went to buy a new one 9 minutes before the shop closed. You never know if it will be enough. But it was enough :-)
