Tag 96: Viña del Mar

Today is Thursday, April 20th. We have spent exactly one week in Viña del Mar. We booked our accommodation through AirBnB with a very nice woman who picked us up last Thursday in Valparaíso and took us in. On Sunday, she took us on a small trip to the nearby coastal cities and showed us the coast. On Monday, we joined a Free Walking Tour through the city. The rest of the time, we spent in bed due to illness. Fortunately, during this illness, we had our own room, our own bed, and a TV, which made it easier to recover. Even though we didn't see much of Viña del Mar last week, it was good to just do nothing, relax, and take a little break from our travel routine, especially over the Easter holidays. Today, our journey continued. Thankfully, we were driven to the bus terminal, where we took a bus to Santiago and from there a bus to the airport. We spent the night there waiting for our flight check-in early in the morning towards San Pedro.
