La Fortuna

After a cozy bus and a thrilling taxi ride, I arrived in La Fortuna, looking forward to the Arenal Hostel Resort, my accommodation for the next 3 nights. It is located in the center and is really nicely decorated and the staff is incredibly friendly - highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The small town also has its own charm.

Having survived the cold night, my first day in La Fortuna started at 6:00 a.m. because the Rio Celeste was waiting for me. The tour was super cool because our guide was so enthusiastic and joyful, it could only be good 😊 After a 2-hour tour and many impressions, we made our way back to the hostel.

Summary of the day: Very beautiful river, waterfall, and great rainforest 🍃 Cool tour also for self-discovery.

The second tour didn't take long, on the second day we visited the Arenal volcano 🌋, the tropical rainforest, enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Arenal, and finally bathed in the hot springs 😍 Not to forget, I saw a toucan and a sloth for the first time - how cool is that?!

Summary of the day: Very cool, exhausting, but above all impressive tour 👍🏼

So, now my last night 💤 in La Fortuna is approaching and my journey will continue to Puntarenas.
