Today we start at 7:45, although there is only 950m of altitude to climb. The first 350m are done in about 40 minutes, again on a gravel military track like yesterday, which is quite exhausting. At least today there's hardly anyone else on the road.
Then we start riding along the ridgelines, with a great view of the many folded mountain ridges, making our way towards the sea. The area is vast and lonely.
At some point the electronic seatpost stops working and even following a YouTube tutorial doesn't fix it. At least we manage to lower the saddle...
In the first 3 hours the tour still has an alpine character, before an endless descent on a military road puts the "race bike" in serious trouble.
Towards the end, we push our bikes up a path for about 100m of altitude to the last hill before the sea, to finally take a nice group photo with the trail, the sea and the rest of the group, and then get to the sea via a tough final trail.
These have been wonderful 7 days with a great group, and I hope some readers have gotten some good information. Feel free to ask questions 😉
