Today the shuttle takes us from Limone to the Tenda Pass and saves us 800m of climbing on the road.
At the top, it actually rains and is windy for about 30 minutes, and then we start our 60 km ride (and 1500m of climbing up and down) along the Ligurian border ridge on the gravel military road, mostly on the Italian side. There are often ruined forts to see.
The view is always amazing and the landscape is varied.
The only downside is that the mostly male drivers of numerous jeeps or other modified off-road vehicles are looking for the last adventure on this road and unfortunately they find it, also because they don't know the dimensions of their vehicles.
One family is particularly inexperienced with their expensive jeep and under the guidance of the wife bravely maneuvers unnecessarily around the curves.
We don't mind and we make good progress today.
For those who love trails, there is a challenging S3 trail at the end, which is mastered well. The rest ride down the road and soon we enjoy an aperitif in the sun at Colle Melosa, where we also stop for a meal (delicious food!).
