08.02. - Cape Town

Today we went to visit the penguins and went to Boulders Beach. We packed our beach towels and swimwear and found a cozy spot on the beach. We even swam in the Atlantic Ocean and after the initial shock of the cold water, it was quite pleasant :D

Then we went to Hout Bay for a quick lunch right next to the beach. After that, we got back on the bus and continued to the Waterfront, where we spent some time at the home improvement store. After a sundowner at the harbor, we went to Karibu for dinner, where I proposed to Marc back then.

With a full stomach, we took an Uber back to our house, only for Carsten to realize that he left his phone in the car... After several attempts to contact the driver, we finally called his phone and a Texan lady answered. She had used the Uber after us and took the phone with her. Marc and Carsten went back to the Waterfront for the handover. All's well that ends well...

Apparently, Marc left an impression and she contacted him again :D She thinks he looks very handsome and she's glad his father lost his phone :D Well, one is extremely happy about it, the other one not so much ;D
