The first sip of Mate & Thunderstorm with Happy End

The first time...

I'm talking about Mate! What did you think?

After a fairly relaxed day, the Mate set was perfectly prepared. The cup has to stand in stale Mate for at least one day.
An incredibly exciting thing and exciting too.

First fill in the Yerba and heat the water, but do not boil.
Fill it in and enjoy 😀

Maybe it's not everyone's taste. But we really enjoyed it!!!

Now there may be the question of what the second part of the title is all about.

During our time here in Sierra de la Ventana and especially on this campsite, we developed a very good relationship with a man named Eduardo.
Eduardo worked here at the campsite and introduced us to the art of drinking Mate, for example.

In the evening, a strong thunderstorm came up. At first very slowly, but then it started pouring down from the normally blue sky.
Together with Eduardo, we built a weatherproof shelter under a small roof.

While the Mate cup emptied in round after round, the rain subsided a bit and presented a great opportunity.
When we took a look outside, we saw a beautiful elongated rainbow.

The great thing about it?

It was still lightning. So we took out the camera and tried to combine lightning and rainbow in one picture with series of shots.
In the end, I took about 150 shots.
But there were only 2-3 really good pictures.

One hour of enduring and waiting for the right moment to press the shutter button for 3 pictures.

Crazy!

Nevertheless, I was and still am quite proud of the result of this hour's work.
If this is not a happy ending after a bad thunderstorm, then I don't understand the world anymore...
