Our last day in Spain

Wɔatintim: 10.05.2022

The journey continues through bright green beech forests. The forest glows in fresh spring green. We stop for lunch and then walk up a viewpoint on the mountain. A griffon vulture is circling. We have seen them many times in this area, but this one flew very low and its size was really impressive.

We spend the night overlooking the beautiful reservoir.

A beautiful time in Spain comes to an end. A beautiful and very diverse country. We enjoyed the country, the people, and the delicious food very much.

After the winding drive over the Puerto de Ibaneta pass, we find a nice place to stay in the first French village, Saint Jean Pied de Port, by a small river in the middle of the village.
