After a restless night in the bungalow, it poured down like buckets and stormed heavily (but luckily the bungalow was watertight 😂) After breakfast, we rented a scooter directly from our accommodation.
And off we went on a wild ride, because paved roads are missing here (except for the main road through the village). We zigzagged over gravel and dirt roads, but we arrived safely in Trang An.
After buying the tickets, we climbed onto a very wobbly small wooden boat with two others. We had 3 hours of boat ride ahead of us!
We passed by huge limestone cliffs, through caves that were so low that we really had to duck our heads, otherwise we would have hit our heads on the cave ceiling, past beautiful temples that were simply built into the cliffs.
Simply breathtaking the area here.
No matter where you look, limestone cliffs towering into the sky everywhere!
Next to our accommodation, this was the next surprise for Steven's birthday!
And the next one followed from our bungalow owner after dinner 😊
A delicious cake suddenly appeared on our table 🎂
We ended the evening with other Germans and the cake on the terrace of our accommodation!
