Now the world trip is almost over. After leaving the port of Southampton, we passed by many ships, industrial plants, Queen Victoria's favorite castle, wind turbine parks, drilling rigs, and defense facilities from the first and second world wars. In the first world war, the first gun towers against ships were built in the sea, and in the second world war, aircraft defense cannon towers were further advanced.

We have packed and after dinner we just have to pack the evening wear.

It's a bit sad. We have met many nice people, both fellow travelers and crew members. Hopefully, we will stay in touch with some of them.

So, now we still have the last dinner and evening entertainment. Tomorrow we will have enough time to have breakfast in our nice restaurant. Around 11:00, we will be taken to the train station by bus, and a little later, hopefully, the German Railways will take us home to Basel or Binningen with their ICE.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone who stayed at home, our new old cat Lucy, and our home.
