Our last two nights in South Korea were spent in Gyeongju, the so-called Museum without Walls. Even though there were many different attractions in the surrounding area, we limited ourselves to the beautiful ancient temple Bulguksa.
In the town of Gyeongju itself, there are many tombs of kings or other important persons, which are always integrated into grave mounds in Korea. We felt a bit like in Teletubbyland.
There was also a beautiful old town where we strolled up and down, played fun games, drank fancy Melbourne coffee, visited markets, and tried out the beauty products provided in our hotel.
All in all, a cozy time to conclude our time in Korea. On October 30th, we made our way back to Seoul around noon to catch our flight to Taipei in the evening.
