38 degrees this morning - first to the beach and into the water.🥶 Err, not really, because it's freezing cold, well, just for a moment. With the cooling off, we went inland to the Grampians National Park in Halls Gap. The mountains in the Grampians National Park are made of sandstone, folded from the seabed, as well as basalt and granite from volcanic activity.
Here we reside, in Hall Heaven, the small cabins built around a little pond. Wild emus have already paid a visit and I expect a kangaroo here and there as well. A storm brought the temperature down to a pleasant 22 degrees.
