Day 28 - adorable

The first realization of the day is that we will probably have the best weather of the entire week today. So we are determined to spend the day at the beach after returning the scooter.
There are a few leftovers from the market that we devour for breakfast. On the scooter, dropping off postcards, and then returning the scooter. The first 100 meters without the motorized two-wheeler make you feel again how sweaty it is to walk in this weather. After stocking up on supplies for the day at the supermarket, we march to the beach section from yesterday and make ourselves comfortable there.

Half an hour later, the beach is visited by a primary school class (about 10 years old). The students ask us, with a clipboard in hand and shaky English, about our experiences in Thailand. While I disappear into the water after finishing my interview with two little girls, Jonna has the pleasure of answering the questionnaire three times - always with at least two listeners and always with the same answers that had to be spelled out without exception - extremely adorable!

After a while, we can observe several eagles hunting, filling the silence at the beach with their singing. The dimensions of this majestic bird are depicted in the following picture, which I am especially proud of - a photo that you only shoot once in your life.

Just look at the dramatic plumage and the golden eyes. The way it holds the fish in its beak - simply incredible.

...

The sun is now hiding behind clouds and the evening is slowly approaching. We make our way back, this time along the beach, and take a short break at our accommodation before dinner. Then we visit the restaurant, which was also our choice on the first evening. For €7.20 we get 4 burgers, fries, spring rolls, an iced tea, and a passion fruit shake. Not big portions but super delicious. We soak up the evening atmosphere of Thailand one last time and go to bed well-fed.
