Japanese Garden Buenos Aires (19.10.21)

Wɔatintim: 19.10.2021

Hello dear ones,
this morning we went to the Japanese garden and had breakfast in a French café beforehand. The breakfast was very tasty and they had real croissants and not the usual 'medialunas' and also great bread! This was certainly not the last time in a French café :)

From the café, we walked for about half an hour through the city to the Japanese garden and saw some interesting things, such as various graffiti or a fly-fishing class in the park, a dry exercise :) There is nothing that doesn't exist.

The Japanese garden was beautiful, but unfortunately, the trees are not flowering at the moment and there are only a few flowers. We have to come back in November when the Jacarandas bloom in purple, then there is also a wide street in front of the university that is full of these trees and it will surely be beautiful.

On our way through the city, we also passed by 'Don Julio', one of the trendiest barbecue restaurants in Argentina. We have to dine there sometime :)

For those wondering about the cannabis expo... Cannabis was legalized in Argentina in 2020.

Currently, Tuesday mornings are our adult excursion days, as Oli and I happen to have free time this school year, and the four of us can always do something in the city. We have to take advantage of this until November because I probably won't be so lucky to have a whole morning off again - at least I don't think so, but hope dies last :D
