Today was the first real lazy day or something like that. My radiant man, who has been acting as if he has always lived in New Zealand since day 1 and ignores any jet lag effects and actually doesn't have any, slept happily until getting up and having a nice breakfast with our very nice hosts here on Lavender Road. Afterwards, we went golfing - finally in beautiful weather at Alexandra Golf Club. Unfortunately, the success - at least for me - has yet to come and there is still plenty of room for improvement to reach my personal best. Probably because I still suffer from jet lag. Every night. Yes, indeed.
Otherwise, everything is quite unspectacular. Hunting for a toothbrush charger cable, which doesn't exist here and which I didn't bring with me, afternoon nap, loaf around. Visit to the Clyde Dam, the largest concrete structure in the southern hemisphere. The order does not correspond to the actual sequence of events.
Dinner at a highly acclaimed restaurant (Olivers), which didn't blow us away, but apparently did blow away a lady present in the restaurant, as she seemed very moved while sitting cross-legged and showing off her polka-dot panties.
Evening sun over the mountains. Tomorrow we will continue with excitement, sports and games... Let yourselves be surprised.
